Welcome the champions at Fiorentina friendly

Supporters attending Wednesday’s friendly against Fiorentina at Stamford Bridge should arrive early in order to welcome the players onto the pitch ahead of the new season.
The whole first team squad will be introduced one by one at 7pm, an hour before kick-off, and there will be a lap of appreciation by the players. The activity will be supported with flames, smoke and flag wavers.
The game is our only home friendly this pre-season and the last warm-up match before the defence of our Barclays Premier League title begins on Saturday against Swansea City.
It promises to be a memorable evening as a capacity crowd are given the opportunity to welcome each of the players, including new arrivals Radamel Falcao and Asmir Begovic, so please ensure you arrive early as we bring the curtain down on our pre-season campaign against the Italian side.
Having lifted the FA Women's Cup on Saturday, meanwhile, Chelsea Ladies will be parading the trophy on the pitch at half-time during Wednesday's game. Ji So-Yun scored the winner on Saturday as Emma Hayes' side beat Notts County at Wembley.
Wednesday's game will also be broadcast live on Chelsea TV, with coverage beginning at 7.30pm.
Join the Chelsea Brass band on a special March to the Match this Wednesday. The march will begin from outside the Fulham Broadway Centre at 6.30pm with the band heading along the Fulham Road before taking up their usual position outside the West Stand.
